Although its painful to say it, its not every time that we fall for someone who makes us genuinely happy. Sometimes, people mistake other feelings like infatuation for love. It can be very confusing when yore young. Sometimes, we fall in love with our own ideal version of love, and not with the person. Sometimes, we get unrequited or one-sided love.  As a result, we get hurt.

A person who makes me happy doesnt have to be someone I am in love with. It can be my mom, my dad, my sister, my brother, my best friend, or my pet dog. It can even be myself.

I will always choose the one that Im happy with over someone whom I thought Im in love with.
